time is a bitch.

every generation carries its own myths and unsolved riddles when it comes to music, music production, and the societal shifts that come with them. beats, chords, lyrics, arrangements, instrumentation, and visual representation don’t just reflect their time — they offer a glimpse into the future, ideally a better one. progress. change.

since its inception in 2001, no.nine recordings has been an agent of that change.

founded as a platform for radical ideas, the label embraced collaboration from the start, mirroring the spirit of its era. the digital transformation of the studio was in full swing, offering musicians long-awaited opportunities to weave musical history into their work. genres became a thing of the past. styles and skills merged into a shimmering pool, glowing with muted shades of excellence. great times. curious times. everything seemed possible. much of it was. much of it still is.

with 49 releases between 2001 and 2015, no.nine recordings left its mark on music history — questioning the given, pushing boundaries, and reminding open ears that the only way forward is creative expression.

in 2025, the story of no.nine recordings continues. the musical landscape has changed dramatically since the label went on hiatus, yet its body of work remains not only rich but visionary—shaping ways of musical thinking that now resonate with the masses.

time is still a bitch. there is more to come.
