painting images on a blank canvas using only words is one of the goals of poet, artist and spoken word practitioner tshaka menelik imhotep campbell. tshaka will tell you his second more important goal is to get the world to simply listen different.

in a world of clutter, flashing images, and over saturated eardrums, the aim to carve a path that makes the listener close their eyes, ponder and listen in a way they may not be accustomed to, is apparent in this latest collaboration from tshaka and me raabenstein. the rich and brooding journey mixes a blend of new and old work from tshaka with new age beats, and sounds spanning from jazz to an inspired weaving of beat glitch woven with cinematic atmospheres that me raabenstein orchestrates with clarity and perfection.
