the ‚size matters‘ lala smeers the art world in ad infinitum circles, small or large glares the core of stranded interpretations. beside this uneven topic, we trip over just another unshiftable belief, a good work has to be precise. alpha bubbah aka me raabenstein performs a particularely exceptional job in questioning this testimony. the artist’s second album ‚baby lady fingers‘ fools about carefully with both the sharp and the unsharp, creating a mystic garden of side effects and afterimages. for the importance not only lies in the picture but also in it’s backwash, alpha bubbah twitches faithfully at the uncanny hidden, the in-between of musical perception.

the album’s justified brillance resides in shaping a forceful amalgam of concussive synth heavens, flabbergasting jazzy tickles and hauling abstract beats, composed and arranged with brainy finesse. this all seems a dusty yackety-yak for you? follow helmut neugebauer going saxberserk on ‚pink boredom’ and your roof is set on fire. vision is enhancing our life, making the world a moving one. remove this everlasting human motivation and there it is, a somber sketch instead of a bursting canvas.
